Welcome to the website of Duncan Clyde.  Duncan is a young actor based in the West of London.  Here you can view Duncan's CV, find out where he is currently and contact him directly.

The son of a successful script writer and stage manager, Duncan was born in 1981 in Hammersmith, West London and grew up in Buckinghamshire, not far from the town of Oxford.

An eager performer from an early age, Duncan found himself immersed in the world of theatre and drama both academically and in the local theatrical events.  As a member of the Downley Lodge School of Drama he was involved in festivals all over the home counties, taking part in competitions for poetry, prose, theatre, improvisation and mime.

It was after completing GCSE's at the age of sixteen that Duncan realised he wanted to pursue acting as a career and began studying Theatre and English Literature at Lord Williams' Grammar School in Thame, Oxfordshire.  This provided an avenue into the well renowned Thame Youth Theatre, where he found himself both performing and directing productions.

In 1999,  after auditioning for drama schools in London and Bristol Duncan was accepted into the Central School of Speech and Drama in Swiss Cottage, London for the three year acting Diploma course and graduated with honours in 2002.  Since then he has been continually working in theatre, film and television in the UK.
