Most recently Duncan has completed filming

on two exciting new projects for 2010

The first of these is a feature from Finelight Productions boasting an impressive cast of established actors and young new talent.  Shot entirely on location in and around south east London, Baseline is an open and raw look at the sometimes seedy and dangerous world of the nightclub scene in England's capital.

'The Baseline is the centre of the east London grime club scene and the queue regularly stretches around the block.  Danny works on the door as the head of an unpredictable security team- breaking up fights and managing drunk and unruly kids.

'When Danny inadvertently rescues Terry, the club owner and leader of a local organised criminal gang from a hitman, he is suddenly plunged deep into the underworld dealing he had tried so desperately to avoid.

'Danny is soon promoted to manager of the club, on condition that he turn a blind eye to the shady goings on he had been previously paid to eradicate.

'For years Danny has had dreams of setting up on his own, and with his new promotion and extra cash this dream seems to be edging closer to becoming a reality, but when he is unexpectedly forced to choose between loyalty and what he knows to be morally right, his dreams of escape suddenly begin to crumble around him.'

Written by Sheriah Larcher and Anit Bashar

Directed by Brendon O'Loughlin

Starring Jamie Foreman, Gary Stretch, Zoe Tapper, Gemma Atkinson and Dexter Fletcher.

Duncan plays Adam, Terry's driver and henchman and a man for whom violence and intimidation are a daily business.  Fiercely loyal to his gang, Adam sees unpaid debts and disrespect as not only cheeky, but as direct insults to him and his group.

Although primarily a living for him, Adam sees no problems in mixing business with pleasure and finds delight and hilarity in the attempts of the weak and stupid to dodge his justice.

He regards those who he perceives weaker than himself with barely masked contempt.

'Baseline' will be released in the summer of 2010

The second of these is another independent feature shot on the other side of the capital, in and around the affluent and leafy suburbs of Hampstead and Belsize Park.

The following article appeared on the website  filmandfestivals.com and was written by Rose Chamberlain in May 2009.

'What do you do when you turn 50 and find that no one is making feature films for you anymore? Yvonne Deutschman, Anne Cameron and Thereza Snyman decided they'd make a film for themselves.  Filming on their low budget feature, 'Three to Tango' has now finished principal photography and will premier in London in the fall.

'Back in 2004 Canadian Anne Cameron, British director Yvonne Deutschman and South African entrepenuer Thereza Snyman discussed the fact that no one seemed to be making films for older female audiences.  "So the inevitable question...." Anne said, "...is what are we to do about it?"

'They turned an original idea into a script and began canvassing for support amongst their contacts in the UK. "It was really exciting to talk about," says Yvonne. "Women immediately related to the story and began asking how they could be involved."

'One of Britains biggest household names, Toyah Wilcox is starring in the film as Michelle, along with Brumilda van Rensburg, a multi-award winning actress from Johannesburg and Robin Craig, an ward winning Canadian actress.  The supporting cast in just as impressive with Shirley Anne Field, Margaret Nolan, Kara Wilson, Ellen Collier and Richard Bremner all sharing the 'can-do' buzz that this film is creating.'

Duncan plays Franklin, one of a trio of film investors known in the business as 'The 3 F's'.  These smug and fairly repellant young men, all suited and booted and with a great deal more money than creativity, are convinced that the only movies worth their time and money are those being made by 'young and new' directors.

Upon being approached by Michelle, a middle aged woman with a project she herself wishes to direct, they quickly dismiss her as a 'has-been' and rather patronisingly tell her they will consider it.

Unperturbed, Michelle returns some weeks later having gathered support from two old friends and proceeds to threaten the three f's with discrimination law suits.  Eventually the investors cave and agree to a measly budget, convinced that it will never be enough to get the film made.

What follows is a feel-good comedy in which three friends set out to prove that age truly is only a state of mind.
